Using the menu Start > List window an instrument list can be opened: for example Stockholm Large Cap: The window can be moved around and adjusted along with other windows to create a workspace. It is described in more detail in Workspaces. |
Create new instrument group |
If you want to create a new instrument group, please open the list group management dialog using Settings > User defined instrument groups The dialog is opened and looks like the picture below. You can mark any list buttons to the right, check or uncheck the desired instruments and finally create a new instrument list by clicking Create new list group from marked selection. A tip is to use a list with only a few instruments to create your new list, just to handla as few instruments as possible if you for example want to create a "My portfolio"-list. |
Create button and menu connection for the new instrument list |
The new list is available to the left with the other lists. To be able to use it a button needs to be created. Select the tab Quick selection buttons.
Now your instrument list can be used just like any other list, for example to create yet another list. To be able to open an instrument list from the Start-menu a menu connection has to be created:

Modify an instrument list |
You can easily modify the contents of an instrument list. For example, you might have a My portfolio-list that you want update as you buy and sell different instruments.
