Sell after 5 days of the first day with profit

Another popular exit strategy is the "5 days or profit strategy" as commonly used in American trading litterature. This works well with several short term buy strategies, usually based on market weakness resulting in upward "bounces". The finesse of this is that the position is closed the first day it shows a profit, or at the latest 5 trading days after buying, acting as a time stop loss.

This exit strategy model only works with bought positions, and can be used for stocks as well as minifutures or other instruments.  

How to configure and connect the order model

Connecting the 5 day or profit exit strategy is simple: 

• Open the order dialog using Start > Order dialog.
• Select Nordnet account in the toolbar
• Check the order model to the left, Standardmodell sälj efter 5 dagar eller vinst, and check the desired instruments to the right.
• Click Connect selected models to selected instruments to create the connections.
