How to configure an alert from a script

You can get the script to send an alert when an event is detected, for example when two averages cross each other or the like. That way you can capture the criteria you are interested in and get notified locally on the screen, or via email and sms. To connect the alert to a script simply tick the Alert monitored in the script dialog:

You are also able to check the Local only to receive alarms only locally on the screen.

The option Max 1 times / day may be good to use if you do not want to send "showers" of alerts.
