How to connect a script to several instruments simultaneously

When working with scripts you might find the Script Report dialog helpful to act as a summary of all scripts writing or reading from different global cells. Also, this dialog shows which scripts are connected to each order model, and you can also run the syntax check for all scripts simultaneously. Click Start > Script report to access the dialog, where you will find all the scripts using global cells.

The script name is shown together with the global cells used. Any order models that use the selected script are also shown. The number after the order model name corresponds to the number of sequencies within the model.

Mark a row to se the script code for the selected script, and edit if necessary. The button Syntax testa alla script quickly checks the syntax of all scripts and lists any found errors.

You can sort the list by clicking on the desired column header. For example, to list used global cells in descending order - simply click the "Writes to gvar" column.
