How to program Stoploss Mini

The settings that can be made are available in the Basic info for instruments tab Indata script. The dialog is opened by selecting the paper in a instrument list and pressing ENTER. In the 'SL Mini trail level "," SL Mini Long rest "and" SL Mini Short rest " you can enter the desired values as follows:

  • SL Mini flytnivå  points that the trailing stop loss level will be
  • SL Mini long rest target number that determines how much of the position to be kept open after selling
  • SL Mini short rest target number that determines how much of the short position to be kept open after covering
  • SL Min Level sets a minimum profit level to allow the stoploss to trigger (if entered)

Example: You buy six future contracts at 890 points, and want a trailing stop loss at 5 points during the peak since the purchase, and when  the stop loss triggers you want four of the contracts sold, leaving an open position of 2 contracts. Then the values would be:

Basic info for instruments > Indata script

SL Mini flytnivå=5    (you want to set the trailing stop level to 5 points)
SL Mini Long rest=2 (you want to keep 2 contracts after selling)

If the price rises to 907, and then begins to fall back the stop loss will trigger just under 907-5 = 902 points where the contracts are sold. Similarly, it works the other way around with short positions.
